A gift wrapping idea

Hi all

I have found a new use for your scrapbooking scissors when gift wrapping. Using piece of left over blue paper cut the edges with your favorite decorative edge scissor.  Then add some golden ribbon for a wonderful detail.  What a great way to add that extra personal touch to your gifts.  To read the full article follow the link to paperieboutique.com

Pretty flowers with decorative edge scissors

Hi all

Over at Posh designs the Frugal Friday post has a great demonstration using decorative edge scissors to make pretty flowers. Lorena has done a great example for all of us to follow so please drop over and have a look at the full article

I have so many of those decorative edge scissors hanging around, I rarely use them any more, but here is a chance to use the one that looks like a scalloped edge

Did you Know?

You can use your decorative scissors for more than just scrapbooking?  Here is an example of Decoupage on candles

Cuts to the napkins should be made in a wavy motion or use scrapbooking scissors with decorative edges. The goal at this stage is to not have straight/ sharp cut edges as they do not blend in well as you start decoupaging the candle.

Just too cheap

At only 1 dollar a pair scrapbooking scissors are so affordable so be quick.

FOUR--4--decorative edge scissors for scrapbooking and patterns. They are gently used but in fine working order (just tried them and all provided a nice, clean cut). I cannot find a manufacturer name on these.

The designs are:
red = rounded scallop
purple = zigzg
green = uneven (ragged? I think to mimic torn paper)
blue = fancy rounded and pointed combination

Happy to combine shipping!
